In Landscapes Of My Memory I, a monumental part of her 2025 diploma cycle, Oliwia Tomczak invites the viewer into an immersive, ethereal space. Exploring the fluid boundary between a seascape and an internal emotional state, the artist uses a subtle palette of organic greens interwoven with shimmering metallic silver. A faint, central horizon line anchors the composition, suggesting a distant shore or a misty morning at sea, yet this is merely a point of departure. The expressive, sweeping brushstrokes transform the landscape into a recording of a fleeting feeling—a memory that is precious, slightly elusive, and constantly reshaping itself. The silver accents catch the light, making the painting vibrate and change depending on the viewer's perspective.
This is a monumental, one-of-a-kind original artwork (200 x 200 cm) created with acrylics on canvas. The large scale allows for a complete immersion in the texture and the physical energy of the artist's gesture. The work is hand-signed by the artist on the recto and includes a hologram-secured Certificate of Authenticity (CoA).
